The Christopher the Stickman Show is an American animated web television series based on The JH Movie Collection Show, set after The JH Movie Collection Movie 2: The Second Part. The series focuses on the character of Christopher as he asks for different questions about life and as he was playing around. The series premiered on May 27, 2020, along with the launch of the HBO Max streaming services.[1]

Development[]
A television series spin-off to The JH Movie Collection Show was announced by Movie Land Animation Studios on February 18, 2019. MLDPS former animator Dante Lopez, revealed that a series of shorts based on The JH Movie Collection Show's Christopher, titled The Christopher the Stickman Show, is in development for HBO Max, with James Corden set to reprise his role from The JH Movie Collection Movie. Rodney Rothman is set to write and direct the series, and will be produced by William Renschen, Dante Lopez and Alejandro Munoz.
Casting[]
On February 14, 2020, it was announced that James Corden, Andy Samberg, Jamie Chung, Gal Gadot, Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey were reprising their roles from The JH Movie Collection Movie 2: The Second Part with newcomers Tom Cruise, Daryl Sabara, Tenzing Norgay Trainor, Julia Michaels and Ryan Potter.

On August 19, 2019, Corden revealed during an interview that he already recorded his lines as Christopher in the series.

The Christopher the Stickman Show was animated by Movie Land Digital Production Services, in San Francisco, California, led by its studio in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Music[]
Henry Jackman, who composed the related television series, The JH Movie Collection Show, is returned to compose the series' score with a theme song is composed by Junkie XL. A soundtrack for the series' first season, featuring Jackman's score and two tracks written by Henry Jackman and Shawn Mendes, was released on June 2, 2020.

Release[]
The Christopher the Stickman Show was released on May 27, 2020 on HBO Max. The series consists of 14 episodes per 1 season released weekly, with each episode being 6-11 minutes long. A clip from the series was shown on the Blu-ray release of Twister. On April 29, 2020, the series' first trailer was released.
