Grossology 2 is an 2021 American computer-animated/flash animated science fiction adventure action comedy film based on the book and the television series of its same name by Sylvia Branzei. It's a sequel to the first Grossology film and was produced by Sony Pictures Animation and Movie Land Animation Studios. It was directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman with the screenplays by Phil Lord and Rodney Rothman and the story by Lord.
The film stars the voice of Tenzing Norgay Trainor, Zendaya, Shameik Moore, Bill Hader, Hailee Steinfeld, Jason Sudeikis, Nick Kroll, Jamie Chung, Rashida Jones and Albert Brooks.
The sequel film will be released on November 24, 2021 by Sony Pictures Releasing under the Columbia Pictures label.

A sequel to Grossology was announced on December 20, 2019, with Tenzing Norgay Trainor, Zendaya, Shameik Moore, Bill Hader, Hailee Steinfeld, Jason Sudeikis, Jamie Chung and Andy Samberg will reprise their roles from the first film with animation was again handled by Movie Land Digital Production Services.
Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman will return to serve as the director with the screenplays by Phil Lord and Rodney Rothman and the story by Lord. Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, Jordan Kerner, Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Christina Steinberg and Mary Ellen Bauder Andrews will return to produce with newcomers William Renschen, Dan Lin, Jinko Gotoh and Roy Lee.
Casting[]
It was announced that Tenzing Norgay Trainor, Zendaya, Shameik Moore, Bill Hader, Hailee Steinfeld, Jason Sudeikis, Jamie Chung and Andy Samberg will reprise their roles from the first film and then play the voices.
On February 18, Albert Brooks will join the cast.
Animation[]
The character animation and computer graphics were created by Movie Land Digital Production Services in San Francisco, being led by MLDPS's studio in Mumbai, Vancouver, London and Singapore, with William Renschen and Stephen Rosenbaum were served as the visual effects supervisors.
Music[]
Henry Jackman, James Newton Howard, Lorne Balfe and Daniel Pemberton will return to compose the film score with newcomers Tom Holkenborg.
Release[]
Grossology 2 is currently scheduled to be released on November 24, 2021 in IMAX, Dolby Cinema, RealD 3D and 2D theaters by Sony Pictures Releasing under the Columbia Pictures label.
