Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products (or TCFCP or Fox Consumer Products (FCP), stylized as 20th Century Fox Consumer Products) was a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company that engaged in merchandising of the Fox brand and Fox properties. With the acquisition of 21st Century Fox's entertainment assets by The Walt Disney Company, Fox Consumer Products was integrated with Disney Parks, Experiences and Products unit.

History[]

Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products was incorporated with the United Kingdom in 1995 as 20th Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising. The first Fox Shop opened in 2005. In 2005 Fox agreed to a licensing contract with Take-Two Interactive Software for a Family Guy video game and merchandising line with Airborne Entertainment. In 2010 Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products would had plans for a line of Glee–related merchandise including games, electrical products, greeting cards, apparel and stationery. In July 2012 Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products would launch a 14-minute 4D film shown 4-D Experience of Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs at the Shedd Aquarium's Phelps Auditorium in Chicago and later in the month Fox Cosumer Products would announce the release date of Ice Age: Continental Drift – Arctic Games for Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS, and Xbox 360. In March 2013, Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products and IDW Publishing announced that Joe Harris would be the writer of The X-Files: Season 10, an in-continuity monthly comic book series executive produced by X-Files creator Chris Carter. The premiere issue debuted on June 19, 2013. On July 16, 2014, Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products signed a partnership with Village Roadshow Theme Parks to open the second 20th Century Fox World theme park in South Korea in 2018. On January 2017, Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products announced that Jim Fielding would be named new President of Fox Consumer Products to oversee the company. On December 14, 2017, The Walt Disney Company announced their intent to acquire Star TV's parent company 21st Century Fox for $52.4 billion after the spin-off of certain businesses. However on June 13, 2018 Comcast officially announced its $65 billion all-cash offer for Fox assets. One week later, Disney counterbid with a $71.3 billion offer. The acquisition was completed on March 20, 2019 with the company being integrated with Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.
